Artist Statement:

My most recent series of work explores the global, social, economic, and natural states of the human spirit. In recent years, we have witnessed the overthrow of governments, riots around the world, and global economic recessions. Our world is undergoing profound transformations, and my recent works aim to capture some of the memorable imagery through the lens of journalists who have documented history-altering events from around the globe. This work focuses on social, economic, and natural states of the human spirit in an effort to expose some of the radically horrific imagery that mainstream culture may find distressing.
